White Wine Improves German Comprehension

In what might be a last-ditch effort after 15 years of failing at this language I have begun a program of extra-intensively immersing myself in written German. Now I'm pulling from a variety of sources. I'm reading Steppenwolf by Herman Hesse. I'm continuing with the Berliner Kurier, but even that remains somewhat inscrutable without having to look up every third word. What I've really been enjoying, what really makes me feel like I've made strides is this Hamburg fashion blog because it is written by a girl whose use of vocabulary and idioms is very basic. It is my happy place. It is called C'est Clairette.
